Or Civic, this is very bland, you could put a Kia or Toyota badge on it and no one would know the difference. Subaru is slowly loosing the thing that used to make them cool and different.

I know, and you can't argue with sales. But as an enthusiast they have nothing that any longer appeals to me. We loved our 2006 Legacy Spec-B, nothing even remotely like that remains in their portfolio.

Watch National Product Communications Manager, Dominick Infante, show you what’s great about the all-new 2017 Impreza. Go to Subaru.com/2017Impreza for more details about this smart, capable sedan and 5-door.

As for the styling, that is extremely conservative, derivative, and boring. At least its not extremely conservative, derivative, boring, and ugly like most of their other cars. Company has yet to make a good looking car in its entire existence.

Under the hood, the 2.0-liter boxer engine gets a bump from 148 horsepower to 152. That's not a large jump, but it's at least something. Unfortunately, the engine is still paired with that CVT.
