Have you thought about the A5 or S5? I know they're more coin comparably equipped, but the back seat in the S3 is so tiny I'd just say screw it and get the way more stylish coupe. The rear seats in the A5 are usuable, they aren't silly like a Porsche 911.

Was an S3, S4 owner. They are fun cars to drive, being AWD and you can take corners a lot harder than most RWD cars. Not sure if you need the room but a S4 might be a better choice than the S3. I wind up trading my S3 for the S4.

Yes! They stamp their sheet metal with very sharp radii to have their creasing really stand out with some depth and volume behind it. This is a very tough manufacturing and quality process to use, but the payoff with design is well worth it in my opinion.
