There's a similar video from Germany, where an irate BMW 7 Series owner drove his car to the front of the BMW head Office, parked it, and with reporters filming away, proceeded to beat the ***** out of it with a sledge hammer. He methodically worked his way around the car taking out each fender, window, hood, trunk, roof, etc. Funniest part is when the Polizei arrive and aren't sure what to do.
It was EPIC. I coud ABSOLUTELY see where someone would come to that level of aggravation.

Obviously he has more money than brains. I don't know how they do it over there but I'm sure they could have come to some sort of buy back arrangement. But what the heck, maybe he felt better after than and to some that is all that counts.

I guess if you have money to burn you can pull a stunt like this. I imagine the guys level of frustration was ridiculous,

I wonder how he came into his money? Obviously he's not the most rational human, I wonder if he inherited his money? Probably.

well most other countries do not have lemon laws or consumer protection for these things.

I get why they are angry, but there are better ways to handle things.. but hey it's their money, so they are free to do as they please.

on a side note, can you imagine what people like this would do to a cheating spouse, or their kid if the kid got into trouble?

You'd be surprised. There's another video on the net of a TV show where they investigate consumer complaints etc (sorta like 60 minutes). Anyway, it covers the story of a Limousine company in Australia with a fleet of BMW 7 or 8 Series. The company tried and tried to get some sort of satisfaction from BMW with regards to all the issues the Limousine company was having (electrical, etc). In typical, "we can do no wrong", BMW fashion, no joy for the company.

I'd say be grateful for atleast you guys get proper recalls ,

Here a Toyota Mini van has compressor issues like every one of them will need to replace the compressor within the first year of the ownership
But the dealer is least bothered

Same for the new landcruiser and lexus LX570 , there is Gear shifter issues where suddenly the gear stops shifting and you have to restart the car to get it back to normal , but dealers dont really care .

When Mb starts making cars that can last past their warranty, perhaps ill consider it. But why would they do that? Cars breaking down makes them money. And there is no shortage of rich people on this planet.

so, instead of selling the car and getting some of his $ back, he decided to act like a 12 year old?

Even a 12-year-old would probably not stoop that low.

This whole story reminds me of an irate Bentley owner who, while not actually destroying his car, also went viral at the dealership several years ago.................

..............although that kind of stress on the drivetrain and tires obviously didn't do them any good.

Should he be mad at the golf club now for falling off at the very end?

He wasn't irate, that was part of the Mischief movie series. Middle school me used to watch those DVDs in disbelief.
