Its not ridiculous, Lexus has received so much free promotion from this and they are barely just teasing this idea.

There is a distinct difference between production/R&D and marketing.

The youtube video alone generated 7 million views, a second video was just released today. I guess you don't really understand marketing campaigns but this one was genius and gives people the impression that Lexus is forward thinking and not afraid of being fun.

Anyone have any fact information regarding release date and cost?
Im thinking of garaging the GS and using the hoverboard to save some money cause gas prices are insane. LoL

 

^^ definitely not for sale in the foreseeable future. They stated in their original PR that it requires a special surface to work on, so you can't just put it on any old sidewalk surface and expect it to float.
