Default 2016 Lexus GS F Going Hill Climbing for First Public Drive

The new GS F and its naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 aren't just going to introduce themselves to Europe like some pirouetting debutante.

I really don't know what they were thinking with this one. The previous gen GS F was so much more aesthetic. Downgrade in the 2016 revision in terms of aesthetics.

I think the pic you are referencing is the F Sport model, GS F is about to be introduced for the first time in 2016. The GS F's front is definitely more aggressive and looks to create a longer front overhang. I will hold judgement until I see it in real life.

Its going to be considered too heavy and too underpowered. The usual.

I imagine that once it's released in the US there'll be a glut of used GS 350s for sale.

when you say 'it' do you mean the re-done front or the gs-f? because the gs-f is not going to create a glut of used gs350's.

Personally I think it's a gorgeous car. It's a great looking sports sedan with beautiful bold lines and aggressive styling cues from what I can see in the pictures.

We can't wait to see the car in person. So far it's looking really nice

Most likely not very different. Judging by the way they RC - F and RC F-Sport / Non F-Sport look.

The GS is actually one of the lightest car in its class considering the competition : the A6, the 5 series, the E class and the Jaguar XF.

Ok I take back half my statement. Its going to be considered underpowered, relative to the competition. Nevermind that most people barely utilize even half of the 467hp. If its near or tops $100k, it will be a colossal failure

Lexus needs to play in the HP wars. I said from the beginning it was 509hp or bust. We'll see when performance figures come out but generally speaking people in this class of car want bragging rights (like HP numbers)
