Have you gotten a chance to drive one, Jill? I don't think you'll be disappointed. My only beef (and it was a very small one) was a little more exhaust-noise at low speeds from the base N/A 3.7L V6 than I expected....that, plus it's a little big for my condo parking space LOL.

I don't think I will have the time to test drive one. I don't have all that much free time anymore. Plus I have to deal with the sales staff.

That's because this area, like Silicon Valley and parts of the L.A. region, has a huge amount of disposable money to spend on new cars, and lots of folks can afford top-level Teslas. You also see Astons, Maseratis, and even an occasional Bentley or RR...how many other places can say that?

I've lived here for 30 years so I'm aware of that, but thanks lol

I see the same things so you could say the Chicago area. I'm sure there are others too.

And remember that $70k or a $599 lease buys you a Maserati now lol

Probably not to the same extent....though Chicago does have a large population. American nameplates, in general, are more common in the Midwest than Japanese, Korean, or European.

How about we let the guy who lives in Chicago tell us what kind of cars he sees there instead of pretending we know better?

A lot of people, though, aren't aware of that. They think all of the money is in New York or California....though that is true for several areas in California. But we have what is arguably the most recession-proof local economy in the country.

I think you misunderstood what I said. I wasn't saying that.

Anyhow, we got off the Continental.
