I dont get why ppl say costs x million not including taxes.

If the car is not road legal then you wont ever need to register it. Not registering it means you wont pay sale tax to the DMV.

Or am i missing something here

Damn what a great time to be a billionaire car enthusiast

Great to see AM coming out with new product.
Still wish Toyota had the ***** to buy the company.
Now they are working with MB.

Aston Martin is entering the hypercar race with the Vulcan, a limited edition track only special. 24 of the 800bhp+ hypercars will be released. We spoke to the car’s designer, Marek Reichman, about his creation.

Production limited to 24 copies

The track-only Aston Martin Vulcan has received its world premiere during the Geneva Motor Show.

Dubbed as the brand’s “most intense and exhilarating creation to date”, the car has a naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter V12 engine with more than 800 bhp (596 kW). The unit is mated to a six-speed sequential transmission, while the British machine also features a suspension with adjustable dampers and adjustable anti-roll bars, as well as a variable traction control system and a Brembo braking system with racing calipers, carbon ceramic racing discs and a driver-adjustable anti-lock braking system.

In addition to that, the Vulcan has a carbon-fiber monocoque, a limited-slip differential and a magnesium torque tube with a carbon fiber propeller shaft.
Production of the track-only model will be limited to 24 units, while buyers will also be offered the opportunity to participate in an extensive track training program.

The Aston Martin Vulcan has made its public debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2015. The stunning supercar is a limited edition track car that features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a futuristic design.

Power is provided by a naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter V12 engine that produces more than 800 bhp (596 kW). It is connected to a six-speed sequential transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than three seconds before hitting a top speed in excess of 200 mph (321.8 km/h).

One day I want to order one of the hypercars, especially something like this car. Maybe in the next 10 years I will be able to.

The Vulcan represents Gaydon's answer to the likes of the Ferrari FXX K and McLaren P1 GTR. It packs a 7.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 at the front of an aluminum chassis with carbon-fiber bodywork. It weighs less than 3,000 pounds, but packs 800 horsepower – without a hybrid system or turbo spool in sight.
