So the questions are:
1) Is the real thing going to look anything like this?
2) Specs?
3) Price?

I'm no brand snob as anyone on CL knows, but it'd still be tough to justify paying $150k+ for a Ford.
1) This is the real thing, this aren't a concept. This is an actual official debut/reveal/launch.
2) 3.5L Twin Turbo V6, 640 hp, 7-speeds DCT, 3200 lbs.
3) $175k. This thing is 85% CF.

It is not even ok for a Mustang GT to not have 8 cylinders, this is a GT40!!

An American muscle car not having 8 cylinders is like a Nissan GTR not having boost..........instantly dead, just like how the V6 killed the XJ220.

The new Ford GT makes 640 hp
The new Corvette Z06 makes 650 hp
The new Dodge Viper makes 645 hp

American muscle cars seem to be making a comeback

I did want to see a Coyote EcoBoost, but I gotta take the GS F route on this one and say I'm happy the GT is back even if it's missing two cylinders.

GT isn't as much a muscle car anymore though, 640hp, CF, DCT, >3300lbs. This is a supercar that says "I'm back" and promptly starts punching

DAMN !!!! I am very impressed. I am loving the body work. Looks like some serious aerowork. The Ford GT has always been know as the Ferrari slayer. This gen looks like it will be every bit of a " Ferrari killer ". Ford is on a performance roll recently.

I would be quite impressed if the new Ford GT would start at US$175k. I was going to say wasn't the previous generation more expensive, but I checked it started at US$145k or something. I find it quite reasonable and I do hope Ford sells many of these. I can't wait to see the performance specs on this baby.

Default Forza Creative Director Talks about Next Game, New Ford GT

So why have the developers of Forza 6, Turn 10 Studios, chosen to have the all-new Ford GT as their cover car?

Well, for starters, it looks cool and is definitely suitable to be shown on the box, and it also signals the start of cooperation between the devs and the manufacturer.

We don’t know what exactly it foretells for the future of the franchise and the next (and sixth) installment, but Turn 10 creative director Dan Greenawalt seemed pretty excited when he made the announcement.

However, absolutely no details about the upcoming title were revealed. Not one single scrap of information was dropped, so apart from knowing it is coming, we can’t state anything for a fact – we don’t even know when it’s coming, but publisher Microsoft always leaves a two-year gap between them.

Forza 5 launched in late 2013, so let’s say the sixth one could be coming towards the end of 2015.
