In the NX Paris video, Executive Vice President Mark Templin hints at some 25th anniversary products. What do you think is in store?

Personally? I think they should find something to stick the LFA motor in, and make like 100 of them.

 

I'm hoping for a new sports car. Maybe the BMW/Toyota joint project?

 

Seems appropriate that it is the concept LS, which gave Lexus its beginning.

The LA auto show is coming up. Whatever this car is, maybe it will be displayed there?

 

My initial thoughts are that special "25th anniversary" editions of existing models will be launched (badging, a new color or two, trim updates, etc).

Sadly nothing that you or I could not do via the aftermarket route. Toyota going wild? Not happening.
When I think of something as significant as an anniversary I think OEM made specifically for that car that nobody could reproduce. A new engine with significant performance enhancements for example. A KILLER sound system that WOWS you. Dare I say better than ML? Tires & rims? Meh. Badges? Meh. Floor mats? Yawn. Different leather? Maybe if it's from Milan and it's calf. . All that I've mentioned except the last reminds me of one of those last minute I almost forgot a gift for the party so I'll throw this on there kind of deals. I certainly hope they DO put effort into it. I know on MY 25th my wife will not be shorted or be treated cheaply that day.
