So... With 4 months to go and only 15k difference between then, can the Lexus take the title this year in the USA? If NX and RC arrive in any significant numbers, they could add at least 5k-10k to the final tally and maybe even more.

Lexus gained 9k-10k in last 2 months vs MB and BMW.

Straight up, the Q50 has been much less successful than anticipated and the rest of the range is pretty stale. They need Q30, QX30, new QX50, new QX70, Q60 very badly.

I really doubt it. Seems like the NX is going to be somewhat capacity constrained with how high preorders and initial demand have been around the world. Do we know when it's going to be available for sale in the US yet?

a great sales month for most, blowing out the '14s.

accord/civic combo trouncing camry/corolla combo is a bit surprising, but maybe the market realizes a full refresh camry is right around the corner.

Any M4 numbers out there? I am in DC today and a couple of 30 year old guys were enjoying the town in a well speced one (deep gray with gloss black wheels and red leather), stunning car.
i think one of the lfa is a white on red one in TX

the e class number is just insane

Yeah unfortunately it seems the fastest way for them to gain sales is to go downmarket and introduce new SUV's.

Interesting that the Express and savanna sales are up that much. Could it be traditional E-series buyers are going to Chevy to keep their 'murican style vans as opposed to ford transits?

Several full-line automakers joined luxury brands in boosting discount offers. Incentive spending climbed 43 percent at Nissan Motor Corp., 24 percent at Chrysler Group and 23 percent at Ford Motor Co., Autodata said.

The average cost of incentives per vehicle vary widely by brands, with sellers of higher-priced models such as luxury cars or fullsize pickups tending to spend more to boost deliveries.

Spending by vehicle averaged $4,912 at BMW last month, followed by $4,189 for Mercedes and $3,236 for Audi.

Chrysler was the biggest discounter among full-line carmakers last month, with average spending of $3,856 per vehicle, followed by $3,595 at Ford and $3,587 at General Motors.

"Incentive spending changes reflect consumer demand shifting to higher-MSRP, higher-profit vehicle segments, which is a net positive for most full-line automakers," said John Krafcik, president of auto-buying website TrueCar Inc.
big discounts everywhere... Toyota/Lexus isnt anywhere close to top :-)

let's not forget that the new C class and the GLA are starting to hit showrooms now. The GLA will probably be a bit hit, and its getting a release time lead on the NX

Yeah, who knows... C class could have one-off month due to switch too. And Lexus (and Toyota) are kind of low inventory situation now, except for few older cars like GS/LS/LX.

I expect Toyota's production numbers to show big upside for September, something that Lexus US has aluded to.

they definitely won't meet 50k again. That's an absurd #.
According to Edmunds, Honda is offering a $1,500 dealer incentive on Accords. Toyota is currently offering a $2,000 customer rebate on the Camry.

Monthly capacity should be at least 7k per month and may be already ramped up to 10-12k. Factory capacity should be 120k (initially it was 80k). I would not be surprised if US gets 3k-4k per month right away.

Whoa, the Accord outsold the Silverado, I don't think that happens very often.
