Not as of now. I covered that in the review. A shame, too...the moderately-priced, roomy Chrysler Lebaron/Sebring/200 convertibles before it were quite popular, as it was the only affordable convertible in the American market with a fairly usable back seat for at least two adults. Pontiac briefly did a retracting-hardtop G6 in the same general price range as competition, but it only lasted a couple of years, and, of course, went down with Pontiac's ship. However, the previous Chrysler convertibles, despite their usefulness and popularity, weren't exactly built like tanks. Even with the typical added frame-bracing and other convertible-reinforcements, they suffered from more than their share of rattles/squeaks and shimmies/flexes.

Thanks, tex, and thanks, jwong. I appreciate your comments. If you two want more reviews, more are coming.

No chance at toppling the Camry or Accord. Both the Accord and Camry are still a few cuts above what American manufacturers have to offer.

The 200C is nowhere near any of those three. The bumper to bumper warranty is not the same among other things.

A fully loaded maxed out 299c awd comes in at $32,180....how can you honestly say someone will be cross shopping with a Audi? Let alone a Lexus or Merc.

Buick is not even a luxury car and the 200C still doesn't compete with a Verano.

This is why citizen journalism is bad for society.
I dont know where you get your prices from but a Loaded 200C AWD tops out at $37,455...

Both are well-built, proven, and have low depreciation. But, from my experience, because of recent cost-cutting, they (now) seem to lack the interior plushness, sound-isolation, and ride comfort of the new 200 with 17" wheels/tires. They also lack an optional AWD system, at least in the American market. However, you are correct that sales of both are not likely to tank anytime soon. Both have become mainstays in the American mid-sized sedan market....and aren't going anywhere.

Welcome to CL as a brand-new poster. Glad to have you.

Slightly off-topic a little, but I noticed your 69gtsDart screen name. Do you (or did you) own a Dart GTS? I grew up with the late 60s American muscle cars in high school, and remember that car well, especially with its 340 V8 (a few of them had the big 383 stuffed in), Bumble-Bee trunk-stripes, and the bright pastel body colors. The GTS was basically the Dart Swinger with a big engine, and it was a natural competitor to the Chevy Nova SS (and to the much lower-selling AMC Rambler Scrambler).
