Default Nissan 2020 vs Toyota FT-1 vs Acura NSX

Nissan just took the covers off of its 2020 concept yesterday. Many believe this is a preview of the next R36 GT-R. The Toyota FT-1 is widely speculated to be the next Supra. Lastly we have the NSX concept which is pretty self explanatory. Which one do you like better? Also remember to vote in the polls.

In terms of design, it's a tie between the NSX and FT-1. The 2020 is pretty unattractive, IMO.

FT-1 gets my vote. I'm a huge fan of the long hood and short deck look.

NSX gets my vote, it is also supposed to be very close to what the production version will look like. I like the Toyota FT-1 but that detailing in the rear and how low it is, especially the roof is just not close and realistic to what the production version is going to look like, the Nissan 2020 is a radical concept, the production version will look very different.

Anyone notice the car beside the NSX? Oh how things have changed

NSX gets my vote.

I like 2020, but I doubt they make production close to this concept. NSX is probably the best looking of the bunch and we know production is going to be 90% production.

NSX looks the best as they are now, but the other two are likely not as close to production form, so it's hard to conclude which will be the most attractive in terms of exterior design ...

I don't see why the roofline on FT-1 won't carry over to production.

Past Toyota concepts have stayed pretty close,

I actually like the 2020 the most. The NSX looks modern, the FT-1 looks cutting edge but the 2020 downright futuristic.

FT1 looks futuristic and exciting with amazing proportions and details.
Next is the Nissan which is futuristic and exaggerated and just eye catching
The NSX seems like a concept from over a decade ago and the beak has never worked.

Hard to compare as the NSX is supposed to be a done deal, the FT is the first Supra concept and the Nissan is digital.

Since the heyday of Asian sports cars in the 90's, there has been a European resurgence since. It's good to see these three halo sports cars. Mitsubishi has nearly abandon everything, dropping the Starion and 3000GT, bastardized the Eclipse and diluting the Evolution soon. Subaru is making a slow comeback with WRX/STI, BRZ and possible SVX. Mazda waits to unveil a new RX-7/8/9, rotary and MX-5 Miata. Meanwile the big three have given us the following

2020: The current GT-R has a long history with other famed Nissan Fairlady's, Z's, Datsun's and the like. It's reputation of performance and capability make it a legend in it's own. Problem is for now a six digit car it 'feels' a bit cheap (new interior upgrades available) and the design while not pretty is not forgettable because of the cars sheer size. The 2020 gives the GT-R much needed sex appeal based on it's exotic nature. Something the current one lacks a soul. Excited to see this AWD Front engine FI 6 Hybrid carry on the legacy that makes the GT-R 'Godzilla'.

FT-1: The FT-1 marks Toyota's full commitment to bringing back passion and enthusiaism now that the Toyobaru triplets have begun finding their way into the hearts of automotive enthusiasts. Perhaps the Celica could one day return (I'd can tC to make room for it). Would also like to see a Lexus roadster in the same vein as the MR2 to be a MidEngine RWD roadster with a Lexus badge. With the IS F, LFA, F-Sport, GS, IS, IS F CCSR, RC/RC F, the FT-1 which shares the same silhouette as Supra's of yore should prove to be a fine heir to the Supra line. It's Front Engine and RWD should make it a pure drivers car, one that Porsche should be wary about.

NSX: If any of these three automakers need a Halo sports car, it's Honda and Acura. While Nissan and Toyota will be ok, to long have we had to wait for Honda to regain some passion. Si and Type-R presence is poorly known, RSX and Type-S have packed up. Both need this MidEngine AWD Hybrid sports car. This MidEngine is needed to be the catalyst for Acura to be taken seriously and the engineering learned from the project filtered down both Honda and Acura lines.

Of the three choices, the NSX gets my vote because it looks exotic and I cannot resist mid engine

FT-1

it will probably be more affordable than the other two.

NSX looks dated...
2020 looks too crazy

I can't believe it, I actually voted for an Acura based on style.
