I have a lexus is f sport 2014 and wanted to put 20" wheels. which i want the front to be 20 by 9 and the rear to be 20 by 10.5. Would that be possible? Because somebody told me i couldn't unless i do some modification.

I just test fit maybe 8 VOSSEN wheels on my LS F-sport. Some 20s did not clear as the brembo 14.8" front brake is huge. Some did clear fine. Email info@vossenwheels.com if that is what you are interested in.
Here are 22" CVT on my LSf and the ride is honestly amazing considering the low profile tire.

Big wheels CAN ride relatively smoothly, even with low-profile tires, if they are made of light enough alloys (and still be strong enough for safety) to create little unsprung weight under the suspension. One also must have a well-designed suspension controlling the wheel motion...and, of course, few will argue that, in general, the LS suspension is one of the best.
