Fuel economy point
Absolutely. That was my point. I was responding to the question in the original post of whether or not the turbo 4s could match the power and fuel efficiency of 6 cylinders. My response was intended to state that simply matching 6 cylinders would be of no benefit. The point of the turbo 4 is to improve fuel economy.

I hope they have taken care of Turbo lags. Whenever I get a loaner C250, that is the worst experience of all. There is no power, and then there is power. It is so unpredictable to drive in traffic, esp under 30 mph. Horrible.

Turbo car is only good with manual transmission or CVT. Because you can always keep it within the torque band to have a smooth power delivery while being fast.
As far as turbo lag goes. There will always be a lag, but with this integrated manifold and twinscroll, I doubt you are going to feel that lag.
