Default Top Gear Ferrari Special

Maranello’s 950bhp V12 hybrid takes centre-stage in our massive Ferrari special issue
http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/n...ari-2014-04-29
This month, we bring you a very special Ferrari edition of Top Gear magazine, in which we celebrate of some of Maranello's greatest creations. Our journey starts with quite simply the most extreme Ferrari ever: yes, we've got our hands on the keys to the 950bhp, V12-engined, hybrid-hypercar. LaFerrari.

Find out if LaFerrari is the ultimate hybrid-hypercar in the May issue of Top Gear magazine - on sale now.

We investigate LaFerrari's bloodline by taking its hypercar predecessors - the 288 GTO, F40, F50 and Enzo, no less - around the TG Test Track. Then we head to Scotland for the ultimate V12 shootout, with the F12 Berlinetta taking on the Lamborghini Aventador Aston Martin's Vanquish in a battle of ultimate power. Oh, and we also take a 458 Speciale around the Italian island of Elba, and go skiing in the FF.

Keeping with all things Ferrari, we also find out how easy it is to buy an old F1 car, whether Ferrari's true love is racing or road cars and whether paying £25k for a secondhand Ferrari is good idea, or a very, very bad idea.

Top Gear drives Legendary Ferraris. Top Gear drives the Ferrari 288 GTO , Ferrari F40 , Ferrari F50 , Ferrari Enzo (F60)
