that video was sick. Dat drift at :33 seconds, holy ****. Can't wait to order my Challenger next year after coming back from overseas. Looking at ordering a Sublime Green R/T Scat Pack. I love the look of the Shaker model, but it has the smaller 5.7L in it. Have there been any major changes announced for the 2016 model? Big design changes?

Roadkill is now powered by Dodge! To kick off the sponsorship, Finnegan and Freiburger called for some brand new 2015 supercars: the 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Charger SRT Hellcat, plus a 645-horsepower Dodge Viper GT. Why? For an epic thrash, of course! This video has more tire smoke than you've ever seen from these cars, plus a big, irresponsible surprise at a motocross track. There are guest spots from Carlos Lago from Motor Trend, Fred Williams from Dirt Every Day, and pro drifter Tony Angelo. None of these guys should have been handed the keys. And by the way, we used the Hellcat red keys the whole time.

Hah, silly dealers, hope they like looking at it cause they will own it for awhile. And to answer your question, no, many dealers are selling them at sticker.

That is how I would option the exterior of one though, white and black. I would go with the brown/tan upgraded leather interior.

That markup is crazy. For that price, I'd get a GT-R.

Wonder if the dealer can charge markup to an employee buyer?

Franchise laws are written in this country to where the dealer can do pretty much anything they want with impunity. Including taking your deposit for a Hellcat knowing that they have already sold their allotment and you will never get your car. About the only recourse a manufacturer has is to send the dealer models/options that don't sell(ie ship the dealer a bunch of 2wd trucks in the dead of winter in Ohio).

I want the Charger Hellcat, not the Challenger. Two doors is stupid. Dodge dealer near me is the only one I know in the state charging MSRP only for Hellcats. No negotiating, but no markup. Now that's an honest dealer.

Probably figured out they would make you a lifetime customer, and that they'd make more $$$ off of the people you referred to them rather than screwing you over on one deal.

Supply and demand, my friend. Dodge had said it's not a limited production car and that they would have a hellcat for everyone that wants one, yet they are having trouble with production (I'm assuming it has something to do with quality issues and also the recalls). Once the initial die-hards get theirs, I'm assuming pricing will come down (Unless Dodge pulls a fast one and makes it limited). I cannot imagine that there would be too many enthusiasts actually putting that kind of money down for one outside of the current frenzy.

Anyone on CL actually bought or looking to buy one?

I'm waiting for the supply to catch up to demand... A friend is working at the factory building these puppies. He's the inside track on when that happens, so no BS from dealerships. Apparently, the factory is no longer taking order for now, and they are going flat out.
Just can't resist meaty V8 cars.

just pulled in after seeing this baby from the road at a small park and show at this little po-dunk town i'm holed up in overnight. Owner said he paid sticker, unlike that bull**** i posted earlier. He also mentioned he had heard a rumor that the Sublime Green color is for 2015 only across all challenger models, and next year they are doing a purple. Any truth to that? I hope not, I want to get the green .

There are no more monsters to fear...so we had to build our own.
