Ain't that the truth! It's all in good fun. One thing I do know is there is ALWAYS a Supra faster than you, so never expect to be top dog. Just build the car you want and enjoy the hell out of it.

More updates. As I go through my phone and photobucket, I'm adding random pictures I find throughout the story. How many pictures am I allowed in a single post per forum rules? Is it 30?

Thanks again everyone. Really excited (more like relieved) to finally be at this point with the car.

I couldn't have done as much as I did outside of a shop without the help of numerous people who were willing to step in and give me a hand over the years.

Still likely my favorite car of all time. That's an unbelieavable journey to take with a vehicle. Kudos for hanging in there...it's going to be an incredible experience in a very short time!

Oil system was primed today and everything looks good! I will most likely be driving out to Montclair sometime next week to witness the car take its' first breath of life in 4 years (to the day on the 17th this month). Fabrication of the intercooler piping will follow and then the car will get a full tank of 110 octane and loaded up on the dyno for the break-in procedure and tuned on setttings 1,2, and 3 (wastegate pressure ~16psi, 24psi, 30psi). Kill tune on VP import (30psi, ~38psi) will follow and then I get the car back.

Sick build man. Supras are one of my all time favorite cars and i still would want one. i looked at some prices on autotrader and they are keeping their value very well. which is one of the reasons for me not having one at the moment lol.

quick question, how much did that 6 speed transmission with 30k cost you from that member?

Usually I hate money questions but this one is legitimate. The Getrag market is hard to keep up on. To give you an idea, a new Getrag is around $6800-$7500 depending where you source it. I paid around half that for mine with 30k miles (that's only for the transmission and shifter tripod, nothing else). Also there's a rumor on Supraforums that there are only two BNIB Getrags available through Toyota in the United States and orders for more from Japan have been haulted.

Thanks for all the compliments. I made a ton of mistakes over the four years but with each mistake I learned a million new things. It was quite a learning experience but well-worth the amount of knowledge I obtained.

BTW an attempt was made to turn the car over today and there's no power to the igniter. The Tweak'd harness is the culprit and the teardown has begun to find out what they messed up.
