I also found this

http://m.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=626393&page=6

Basically, the Engine EJ25 in the 07 STI blow Piston Rings even under stock form.....Ringland Problems

So now, the 2015 STI engine is carried over from that Generation....together with this STI Piston Failure....also well known with weak Metal being used in the Engine construction.....

I am going to take a look at the Lancer Evolution X >.<

i came from a '10 Evo X MR. i have nothing but good things to say about that car except gas mileage. i know it's a sports car, not built for sipping gas, but even with that mind set you'd be surprise how often you have to stop by the gas stations. partly due to the smaller fuel tank (about 12 gallons), i had to fuel up every third day and was averaged about 18 mpg with normal driving habits.

So the Handling was not all that good ? any sporty feeling compare to the EVO X ? does the car communicate to you ? like steering feed backs, chasis feed backs, brake feed backs ?

you kidding me? there's no comparison in handling between TL and EVO. TL handles like a regular Accord (SH-AWD's a bit better, but i doubt it would even approach EVO territory). one thing about TL though, it's very roomy inside, feels like a Lincoln towncar once you're inside LOL

LOL. Thanks for the clarification. I test drove an Exo X...and i was not impressed with the transmission. It behaves exactly the same as my old 3000 gt when cold. The second gear synchro refuses to engage quickly, i had to keep pressure on it. The STI went into every gears like it wasnt even there.

EVO will beat you to death on daily driving, but it's a very very good car on the track. If you get used to driving Lexus or something similar, you wouldn't want an EVO unless you consider it your weekend toy.

why not buy a used ISF. More power, torque, Lexus reliability and service quality (outside the idiots at Bell Lexus in AZ), and no boy racer styling ....or less at least .lol
