Jay said good-bye to his being long-standing Tonight Show host last night...but will, of course, remain a car enthusiast.
I was sorry to see him leave the Tonight Show, though. He was excellent competiton for David Letterman......who, IMO, borders on the moronic.
At one time, Jay was credited with having the world's second-largest privately-owned car collection (with the Sultan of Brunei on top)...but that may have recently changed.

Also heard that
That Camaro is Badass. A girl in my HS used to have a stock 67 RS. So jealous. When everyone else were driving new Honda's, Mini Trucks and what not, here comes this underclassman girl with a sick Vintage Camaro.
Bob Hall and Tom Matano tell Jay about the creation and evolution of Mazda's iconic sports car in celebration of its 25th year in production.

his show was the best imo..i started watching him years ago before anyone else came on the scene.. Jay walking and the funny ads that people would send it was just some of the great moments of the show... and who can't forget Kevin Eubanks laugh... lol
Jay was the king of late night. Replacing him the first time was a mistake and replacing him this time was a mistake. I like Fallon ok, but he's no Leno. He was the single most classy individual that NBC has employed in recent times IMO.
That said....it's always better to go out on top than to hang on until nobody wants you anymore.

Legendary hot rodder Don Yenko gave 100 Corvairs his special tuning touch, and #54 is one of around 70 that exist today. Jay bought this Stage 2 from fireman Jeff Guzzetta, who executed the road racer's meticulous restoration.
I love that Camaro, love Jay's Garage videos. I will miss him on The Tonight Show, it was nice watching him on the Tonight Show knowing he was a huge car enthusiasts and had one of the biggest most impressive car collections in the world.
