of course the rx and mdx are very different vehicles, but no question rx sales are amazing. probably helped by blowing out remainder of '13s but nevertheless impressive.
point about mdx sales was that they're up over 70% vs. last year with the new model. rx up about 3%.

It always has since the beginning of time. E class also included coupe and wagon sales.
Q50 leases are back to cheap o deals. They stated they were not going to go that route with the Q50 and leave that to the G37 and since the car was not selling with the new strategy they went back to the high incentive strategy of the past. . This is a complete reversal of their intent for the Q50 and how they wanted to sell the car. It didn't work and that is the danger of selling your cars for years with high incentives and cheap leases. People do not want to purchase it for more as the brand has not commanded higher prices. Notice people shifted away from the G37 last month as those sales went down as people can now get a Q50 for just a bit higher. Its only causing internal cannibalization. Incentives do get higher around the holidays as do sales so lets see what they look like next January- March.
Remember Infiniti contributes nothing as a brand to Nissan's bottom line, per Nissan themselves. So selling more and not making money isn't cause for any celebration.

The entire industry has big incentives and discounting, short of Range Rover… not a GS thing. Sales are only down 11.5% for the year so what are you talking about?. Especially since too many here don't even agree sales started strong.

I honestly think Benz could hit close to 40k sales in a month…dealers have inventory problems with the new CLA and S-class as well as SUVs….they also are rolling our some serious incentives….
3/4 sales are so strong that even IS/ES sales are far short…
Just realized I skipped Audi….

Don't know about other cities but lease rates for IS and Q50 are practically the same in my area. We'll see if the trend continues but it usually does take a car a few months to hit its sales stride.

The E-class is a powerhouse, it includes wagon and coupe sales. GS sales are sedan only. Oddly enough I've been looking at the Sport Wagon….pretty cool car, and 70k with some options

I complain about the GS all the live long day because I wanted a RWD platform luxury hybrid with AWD and a roomy back seat.
Lexus gave me squat and Infiniti gave me something to work with.
I do believe the Q straddles the market between IS and GS and does take some GS sales (but not as many as the new CTS will).
The biggest reason we complain about Lexus is they are too slow to give us the full power cars we are craving (next up RC F or GS F please).
Then there are the shoot the business in the foot sound bytes like the recent comment that verts are for old people (when asked if the RC would come in a vert). Please some one fire that ediot, verts are for successful people who enjoy the open air experience and like to be seen.
