Default 2008 Lexus IS 250 AWD HELP!!!

Hello. I recently bought a 2008 lexus is250 awd with 82k miles on it. There are wheel locks on it but no key. Do you think the Lexus dealer will give me a key for free? Or if they charge, how much would it cost me? Also, do you know if it is possible to reset the oil maintenance reminder and customize it to a specific mileage because I use Mobil1 Extended Performance and it goes 15k miles, so I don't want to be alerted for an oil change every 5k miles. Also do you think the Lexus dealer would help me for free to customize the personal setting for lights, locks, etc.? Last thing, do you know if a Lexus dealer would do an oil change for me if I brought the oil+filter to them? Thanks for your time!

That maintenance light can be reset by visiting auto zone, or buy a cheap OBD2 scanner at Auto zone. Key lock ? you will have to look for them in auto zone, the dealer may give you one for free, but chances are, they don't have them. Lugs Key are like 10-15 bucks, they are most likely useless...lol

Make sure you indeed don't have the wheel lock key in the car. They are usually found in a small leather pouch in the spare tire area, most likely hidden and wedged into a crevice

Welcome to CL as a brand-new poster.

As far as the oil-changes go, if you don't do them yourself or use an independent-shop, try asking a local Toyota dealership if they will do it for you.......they typically charge much less than a Lexus shop for what is often just about the same work....and you will get the same oil-filters as a Lexus does.

The techs at any local dealer or tire store will have a wheel lock removal tool if you can't find your key. However, the locks will be destroyed once removed. The maintenance light can be reset by you, it doesn't need to go to a dealer, it's all spelled out in the owner's manual.
