2015 Lincoln MKC
Well, Hoovey, thanks to autoblog, you beat me to it.
No, seriously, thanks for posting.
I think this is going to be a watershed vehicle for Lincoln...arguably their best new product since the Town Car was dropped. I was well-impresssed with the one I saw up on the turntable at the D.C. Show in late January...especially with the superb dark purple Tahitian Pearl Paint. The Lincoln reps there said (probably) April 30 for the national release...but that was obviously off, as local dealerships here have them on order but still not delivered yet. You can bet the monthly rent I'll do a review myself when they finally make it in, if there are any unsold ones.

One thing you won't have to run your hand over is the fussily idiotic capacitive-touch 'sliders' that control key climate control and audio functions on the MKZ. They're gone, replaced by simple, functional rotary ***** and physical switches. Halle-freakin-lujah, Lincoln actually listened. Pass the bubbly.
What will really knock your socks off, though, IMO, is that Tahitian Pearl color....which Lincoln promises will be available on production models.
Possible, but I wouldn't plan on it. The MKC basically comes from the Ford Escape platform. When the new Escape was introduced last year, the hybrid version was dropped here in America in favor of the sister Ford C-Max Hybrid. But, to me, the C-Max is not really a car-based SUV like the Escape and MKC.......in reality, it seems to compete more with the Toyota Prius V wagon.

Thanks Joe and Mike. I've bolded some highlights from the article and the MKC appears to be a hit. I'll look forward to Mike's own review (hopefully in that gorgeous Tahitian Pearl
). Unfortunately there is not a Lincoln dealer that is easily accessible in my area to do a Hoovey Review.
A no cost hybrid option like the MKZ is a great idea. Especially with the Q5 Hybrid and upcoming NX Hybrid

You guys actually somehow like that color?
Lincoln had a MKZ painted that color at the Phoenix auto show and it looks great in person. Very dark, a bit like Infinitis' Malbec Black. It is on the MKC website, so it is a production offering.

Colors also often appear different in bright sunlight than they do in the shade. Bright sunlight usually brings the full effect out.
