You'll have no warranty on the wheels, but that's about it. Unless one of the wheels breaks and causes damage to other components, that obviously wouldn't be covered either. But those two exceptions aside, no warranty change.

Lowering it is a little bit different, but not too far. There are more related components whose failure might be able to be tied to the suspension change (think tie rods, ball joints, etc). The list gets even a bit bigger if, like most people who lower, you also stiffen the suspension at the same time. Things like bushings, development of rattles, stuff like that. But again, by and large, the overall warranty on the car is still intact.

And it's important to note that in ALL cases, while they MAY be able to deny warranty coverage on a particular part as a result of a modification, they must support and document that the modification caused the failure, in a way that the stock components would have been unlikely to do.

If the design of the wheels blocks air flow to the brakes and affects their cooling, causing warped rotors, glazed pads, or overheated brake fluid that loses its effectiveness, that probably wouldn't be warranty-covered.
