Yes, looks like he did a nice job. 
Slightly off-topic maybe, but, when I was a kid some 50 years ago, I remember building the model-kit version of the famous Visible V8, which had many transparent-clear parts and simulated the internal-workings of a typical V8 of that era. A battery slowly spun the starter-motor, which slowly turned the internal parts....flywheel, crankshaft, rods/pistons, cam, valves, alternator, water-pump, etc..... the battery also provided a "spark" to the plugs on the power-stroke via wires and small light-bulbs flashing on and off.
