Default Bought IS250 back in July and just saw the mercedes CLA

I think I died a little inside. Mercedes has unleashed a monster...that car is beautiful. I didnt know of the car back in July when I needed to buy a car then. It was between the Honda Accord 2013 and the Lexus IS250 2013. After I made my decision on the 2013 IS the dealer then tried to show me the 2014 and the new grille turned me off completely. I like the 2nd generation much better in exterior looks.

there's been plenty of press on the CLA even before it's release. Consider doing more research next time, be it a dealer, the interwebs, or social media like Instagram

I felt the same way about the 2014 IS. At first I thought it was hideous but it has slowly been growing on me.

The CLA however is such a fantastic looking vehicle. The only drawbacks I found was the rear seat room is very cramped especially for taller people since the roof slopes but other than that it's a great car. Looks amazing and is attractively priced to boot.

Hoovey said it best. *education* If you are wowed by cars, you owe it to yourself to know what's out there and coming. This can save you a ton of money over the years, as you won't make unecessary purchases when you know what may be lurking. The CLA has not been a secret.

While I'm not the biggest fan of the 3IS

It looks much better than that crude CLA

CLA is based on front drive A class... so it is not the same class really, it is one class lower. It does look good.

If you get it with big wheels package, otherwise it just looks silly especially EU version with 16'.

Car grabs attention but I am not sure it looks good, the car needs to be bigger in other to carry those lines as you can tell from size of both front and rear lights.

CLA is FWD and has weird proportions.

To me it only looks decent from the back.

OP - 2IS looks dated, should of got the new IS, the interior alone is worth it.

Ouch, my only problem with the CLA is, yeah, it does start at 30k. But as soon as you start adding options you've hit C Class territory. KInd of a tough choice then IMO.

I didn't love the looks of the CLA until I saw it in person. I like it a lot.

The new C-class is due in a year and will correct that by moving a half-step upmarket.

Yes i saw the CLA at the mercedes dealership yesterday. It was gorgeous. I didnt really care for the leather inside it wasnt soft at all. The navigation screen was kind of oddly created and placed. Nevertheless the car is beautiful. I also saw that these cars arent as cheap as they try to make it seem. With a few options they easily graces the lower 40s.
