we'll probably see a bunch of these on the show Homeland too.

Straight up, those exteriors are ridiculous. The grille looks like the underside of a Gillette fusion razor. The headlight design looks stupid (Nissan?). The sides look to be straight out of 1999 and the rear end looks like a Scion xB. I can't believe this is the best that GM could come up with.

I love the interiors. The exteriors are currently leaving me cold. I like the Yukon generally, but feel that it's overly boxy. I'm not sure if I'll ever warm up to the Chevy front end...that just doesn't look right to me. Can't wait to see them on the road regardless.
Also, I think it's funny GM's way of fitting in fold-flat seats was to simply raise the load floor and return to leaf springs in the rear instead of the last gen coil springs. That's one way to do it....

Only reason IMO why GM has been ahead of Ford in this BIG utility segment is that the GM products offer more power, better fuel economy, and steer/drive a heck of a lot better. As far as interior packaging/space, Ford has had it all over GM for a while now.

Really, leaf springs and solid rear axle??? Ford has had an independent rear setup in the Expedition and Navigator for 10 years now. Granted it costs more, but it allows the rear floor to be a lot lower, thus a lot more cargo/passenger room. The IRS is why Ford has had that folt flat power rear seat for the past 10 years.

I used to wonder who still bought these too, but a few camping trips to the mountains, lake, and beach confirmed it all. There is still a large demand for families and retirees who need to tow recreational equipment.
