Indeed, in some GCC countries the LC is actually the top selling vehicle. ( Top 3 over all ). The Prado is very popular as well. I can see why, LUXURY + RELIABILITY + CAPABILITY + DURABILITY. You can get more luxurious vehicles and more capable off road vehicles in stock form, but when you combine all this in one package, its pretty hard to beat.
