the driver panicked too. if it were me i would slam into the wall, better than going DOWNHILL against jagged boulders.

Split second reactions make a huge difference. Luck that he didn't get tossed out. Sad to see that car get wrecked like that but the safety measures it had did its job you must admit.

People are saying there was sand on the road, so maybe he couldn't aim towards the wall instead

...which is why it's a bad idea to push a car to the limits of grip on a public road (with nowhere to go when you go BEYOND the limit).

Why do m3 guys always think they are god? Pretending to own the road, driving like an idiot, etc. BTW if someone doesn't remember, this is not the first time some m3 owner crashes his car in a windy road, with lots of sand.
