maximum output of battery is determined by battery size. Current technology is limited to 50-60hp, not toyota, but any nimh or lion battery... which means that to get to 100hp battery output, you need to double battery sized... at that point you have larger battery which is heavy... put it in GS-F and it will be +4500lbs car... then you have to use a lot of expensive materials to bring the weight down... this is why Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren are so expensive. You literally need something light like LFA and then put 500lbs of hybrid/batteries in it... doesnt make sense.

So you can use super-capactiors... like in Toyota racers... but they cost arm and a leg and are not for mass production cars.

So unless they invent new battery and market it, I doubt you will get hybrid system that makes performance sense...

So I'm sure most people have already seen this, but I was just wondering, what is the significance of these magazine photos and stats? Are the photos just artist renderings? Are the stats just "guesses," or can we really expect 465 HP for the RCF and GSF?

465 HP for the RCF is phenomenal and would easily compete with the M3.

465 HP for the GSF sounds anemic.

I don't know what magazine this is from. I just found this in the ISF forums.

Oh my goodness, that RC-F render looks SICK! But the rear looks more like a hatchback than a coupe, maybe like a CT-F. Either way it looks totally sexy.

The GS-F needs to look like the LF-Gh concept. Change the rear to look more like that and it will be the sexiest car in its class.
