Yes, $30 or $50 when I looked at their online store just now. (It has nothing to do with a "discount" though.)

I have 3 vehicles with XM and have to play this dog and pony show usually every time in the last 3-4 years.
Though I will say my last rep was ok.
This is what I just did on my Mazda--the salesman had told us to WAIT until the absolute end of the trial period to get the best rate--don't extend during the trial. I got a $5/mo rate when my 4-month trial was up. On the last day of that 6-mo period, I called and was told there were no promotions. I told them I would cancel, and they transferred me to customer loyalty. I let her give her speech, and then she asked me if they can't find an acceptable rate, what did I intend to do. "Cancel right now" I said. Oh--suddenly there was an $8/mo rate available for 12 months.

Pandora and Tune-In radio on my phone give me much better content than Sirius XM.

Just renewed 3 vehicles and got the music only $86 +tax and royalty fee ($103 ea.) promo.I've always got the 1/2 off promo with hard haggling, threatening to cancel etc. but easy this time.
I think they're getting smarter.
Sirius stock rose almost twice as much in the last year.
I may also have the advantage of 3 renewals at one time and the cancelling 3 vehicles at one time if I don't get the 1/2 off promo.

I got a lifetime subscription with 3 free transfers back when I got my 07. When I was car shopping I called to see if there were any strings attached and they said well we don't offer that any deal anymore so you can't transfer it at all. Then they were nice and granted me one free transfer

Yes,I've read of not being able to transfer lifetime subscriptions. At least you got one.
Does Sirius still offer lifetime subscriptions?
I hate calling XM.That's why I'm glad to have all 3 of my vehicles end the same time. One call.

I don't know how people want to deal with them so often with the $25 deal they offer when you cancel.

I doubt they still offer the lifetimes. When I do use my transfer, I'm going to just switch it to a mobile unit and use it around the house or at work

Right, no more lifetime subscriptions are available. I think they're being very nice allowing a transfer, as basic terms of the lifetime subscription were for 1 single vehicle unless the SiriusXM haed unit had to be replaced, i.e. when you changed vehicles, the subscription ended there. GOOD FOR YOU, THOUGH. I'm envious!

Original agreement they offered to me was 3 transfers as it wasn't an OEM unit, it was offered via the dealer as a plug and play. Cutting that down to 1 is hardly nice
