The future generation of the Acura MDX has been recently caught on camera on the Nurburgring, where the model was being tested.

The 2014 Acura MDX as it is being known is expected to hit the market sometimes next year and the model is currently in development, a fact proven by the video posted below, which is revealing it while being tested on the Nurburgring. The most interesting fact on this video is the presence of an Acura model on the famous German track and this will probably be just the beginning as the company will most likely bring all of its future models on the Ring.
The upcoming Acura MDX is heavily disguised in the video posted below so no lines or shapes are being revealed but the crossover is showing us an evolutionary design with its distinctive headlights or with the toned down grille. The engine options on the 2014 Acura MDX are expected to be shared with the 2014 RLX so the entry-level version might be powered by the 310 HP 3.5 liter V6 engine. Three electric motors might backup the 3.5L V6 and power will be sent to the AWD system. The new MDX will go in production early 2013 at the Lincoln, Alabama facility.
