nope... I was told few months back that there will be both IS250 and IS300h in Europe... IS300h will be high tech option that will cost 5k more, so they kept IS250 to be cheaper option.
Right now difference between GS250 and GS450h in Germany is 10k, so this fits right in the middle of that.

Lexus is likely to add a GS-based performance coupe to its lineup in 2013.
The new model will fill the gap left by the departure of the SC 430.
It will be designed to compete against the Audi A5/S5, BMW 6 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class coupe.

The other thing too is I've been told what the IS coupe looks like and from what I was told, that doesn't look like it.

I think the concept is cool, but more than anything I LOVE what this concept is previewing. And that is an aggressively styled coupe (or coupes). I seriously cant wait for the production version.

it's good that lexus is finally making a true hard top coupe
but that rear end looks awful, especially at this angle....
just looks saggy and droopy, and narrow at the top.
Everything else up to the rear glass looks decent.
the spindle grille looks much better on this than the current GS.

^^^ or maybe we just got used to seeing it so its not much of a shock.
Now regarding where the LF-CC is an IS coupe or GS coupe:
my take is its an IS coupe but sitting a step above (in price and fit/finish) the four door IS.
Im thinking along the lines of what bmw/Audi is doing with the 3 series/4 series line ups and the Audi A4/A5 lineups. In that case it makes sense, its still a D segment yet its more midsized than before.
the LF-LC could fit above a GS sedan as the GS coupe as a 6 series competitor / a7 competitor, but this is definately not that car.
And anyway an IS coupe is wayyyyyyy over due
