Give me one for free. Besides that, I can't think of anything. They don't interest me, not at the price premium and the size the vehicles are (i.e. too small).

Having a garage where I can charge it.

Living in a condo in the city, my car is parked at the other end of a hallway in a parking garage. I would not trust it alone charging in a parking garage where anyone could have access. Otherwise, an electric car makes a good bit of sense for me personally.

No interest at all in a 100% electric vehicle.

1. Yeah, most 'all electric' are small vehicles and none too practical.
2. For the price you can buy them now, how many years of gas would the difference in price offset?
3. This is a big one for many people. If you're trip is a few miles here and there, and you don't need much space, and $ isn't a huge factor, but you're green, sure an all electric is fine. However, until range can be extended to at the least modern levels, they aren't practical enough for long distance travelers.

hard to get over the fact that gas has something like 17x the energy density of a battery. People keep saying its an oil company conspiracy when its really a conspiracy of physics and thermodynamics.

I wouldn't mind an electric sport bike. Brammo has a nice bike out that I wouldn't mind rockin. I don't think I'd buy an elecitric car anytime soon though.

None (though maybe a second/third car). I like the noises a combustion engine makes

With today's technology, 5 minutes is, of course, unrealistic, but 400-volt chargers are being developed that will do a full-recharge in about 20-30 minutes. (In fact, some of them may be ready now).

highly interested. I am fine with the current "drawbacks" that are present in electric cars but I can look past all of them.

I am pretty sure I will buy a 100% electric car after my next vehicle. That should give them maybe 7 years to improve battery technology.

In fact, I dont see any drawbacks from the Tesla S. Good range, good looks...10K from the government...
