I doubt it but Apple made industrial design relative and mainstream.

Apple hasn't been selling white anything for a while now, everything has moved on to Aluminum. This is more Apple than any white car:

The Volt interior though does seem Apple influenced to me....I do think people identify white with apple more than aluminum
