Woodward Dream Cruise 2012
Every year I get reminded of what we are missing.
With the hybrids, turbo 4’s and 6’s comes the great MPG, but that rumble from a v8 is something along the lines of a symphonic harmony.
For 2 weeks every August the area is swamped with old classics and modded up modern muscle cars and trucks. Most way over the top, throwing down 500-,600, 700hp+…. Cut pipes, two four barrels, 502 BB bored all to ****, it’s like you are surrounded by ticking time bombs of raw power.
The exhaust notes should be played at bedtime on a clock radio like people do with the rainforest music, it’s really that great and unfortunately as times change we won’t be able to enjoy this as much in the future.
