It's alright, nothing special.

IMHO
It's not ugly or boring........but the design is not as dynamic or as consistent (in an overall perspective) as say a Renault Megane

So in the end, design is good/decent (obviously not boring/ugly)........but definitely not great.

Hehe just saying

It seems that Toyota is damned if it does and damned if it doesn't. Older (previous generation) Toyotas were panned for boring, uninspired, slab-sided styling, yet when Toyota injects some style into their new cars, the same people who were complaining about the appliance styling complain again, sometimes with the same criticisms.

It seems that Toyota is adopting the now generic compact hatchback styling of a rising beltline (window line) -- that gradually sweeps up from the A-pillar to the C-pillar but then quickly kinks up into a triangular-shaped D-pillar (giving it that reverse-triangle 3rd window that seems to be the must-have styling for sporty small hatchbacks) -- and ending in horizontal tail lamps.

Very nice looking, IMO. Only part I'm unsure of is that splitter on the grille. Very "old Maxima" to me.

those are not concept pics, thats photoshop of Yaris face into the Rav4 current body... Rav4 thread has better chops based on latest spy shots.

Do you have Megane there? Its a lot less agressive in real life... even RS versions are not that agressive.
Then again I see billions of them every day so to me it is very boring car, as any other in the class...

Its trying to stand out and I applaud Toyota for that, but its just ends up looking like a poorly done French Hatch late to the party.

Very nice and i hope it comes to the States! Note that this is basically the uncamouflaged car that was supposedly the next RAV4....

nope... this is a lot smaller than Rav4... like half size :-).
That was the next Rav4... it will probably have somewhat similar face.
