Default Rain leakage

After a heavy rainfall the spare wheel basin is full of water.
Anybody got a solution?

open the drain at the bottom and let it leak out.

if no drain, wet dry vac it out. Should probably check the seals along the trunk opening for where it's coming in.

Car model? If have sunroof, also check the sunroof drain tubes.
