I know I'm probably preaching to the choir here, but if you remember, Mike, I said a long time ago (when I reviewed both the Crosstour and TSX Sportwagon), that both of them, IMO, had major style and marketing problems. The Crosstour had the right mechanicals (V6 option, AWD, raised-suspension, etc....), but they packaged it with that silly droop-rear roofline that screwed up the rear visibility and cargo-space. In contrast, they gave the TSX Sportwagon a proper, good-looking and functional wagon body, but then screwed up royally on its mechanicals.....no AWD, V6, or raised-suspension. Go figure.....
And then they wonder why neither one is selling.............. ........although, to be fair, one of my neighbors did buy a Black-on Black Crosstour.

There's no way the new Accord is getting 310hp either, there is no need for that much hp in a family sedan even if it is on the sporty side. 271hp in the current one is more then enough for a family sedan,.
I think the new v6 Accord will make around 275hp with a more improved powerband. It may make 280-285hp for the 6 speed coupe.
I think the styling is nice and will probably look better in person, interior looks best in class.

I don't see the Pilot getting 310hp or anywhere near that. The current one has 250hp which is competitive in its class. Why would they jump 60hp in the next model especially when nobody else in its class makes anywhere near 310hp. I think the pilot will make around 260-270hp with an improved powerband.

275-280 sound about right for the top Accord.

it's very conservative, but quite nice. at least it doesn't look cheap.

Interesting. In the last exterior pic, it's wearing Sonata rims. Maybe for a test?
A couple more thoughts... Dash isn't all that attractive with the "auxiliary" nav screen standing out like a sore thumb. Why can't manufacturers integrate this feature instead of making it stand out like the dash was designed around it? Ruins the whole flow and looks like a wart. Am I the only one who is annoyed by this in Honda, BMW, and others?
Exterior is very clean and modern. I agree, this is the best looking shape in the segment.
Question: Without reading through all the pages (again), does anyone know if the gear shift lever has manumatic shifting? That would be a deal-breaker for me if it did not.
