I remember the Alphard had a 1MZ-FE engine option like my RX300, believe the Alphard was the last vehicle to utilize that engine.

yup I wish they did import the alphards' and the nissan el grande!

they have the nissan quest here but the front end is nowhere near the commanding front end look of the asian versions.

There is LHD Alphard now. I don't think there is LHD vellfire though.

i wish the rx interior was like this, and not the asymmetrical silver thingy in the middle.

good question i wonder if anyone has an answer. i asked about this a few times but no one could really give me good enough of a convincing answer. i mostly just see some cosmetic changes. alphard seems more classy, vellfire looks more sporty

I think Toyota make those cars to cater different target market. Alphard is catered to older guys probably 50+ that likes classy styling, while Vellfire targeted to younger guys that like more sporty styling in a minivan.

just more of model variation, since minivan market in Japan is very competitive.
Alphard = executive, luxurious, classy type
Vellfire = youth, strength, sportier styling type

Toyota uses the same formula for the smaller Noah/Voxy.

Japanese market is very different to US and Europe.... Toyota has almost 50% market share.
They sell via 6 different dealer networks which all have "unique" models. So there are variations that are very similar but they use it to address different demographics.

Default 2010 Toyota Vellfire

HI guys, I just bought a 2010 Toyota Vellfire but the stereo is all Japanese. Is there a way I can change the language on my current radio or do you know of a direct english replacement radio or a dash kit that can work with a double din radio for this vehicle?
