Nissan has released a passel of official photosd of the 2013 Nissan Altima, the sedan it "would like to make #1 if customers agree." While the new styling might take getting used to, the other changes are all welcomed: it's lighter, has a revised transmission, will return 38 miles per gallon if equipped with the four-cylinder, and starts at $21,500 before the $760 destination charge.
Now that the Altima and Toyota Camry are known quantities, the pending reveal of the Honda Accord will fill out the field and then we'll have a better idea of the fight to come

I think this Altima looks quite nice, other than a little too much chrome on the grille and the round fog lights do not integrate too will with weird shape parking lights... The interior is typical Nissan design and LOOKS better quality.
I will give a doubt if it beats the Camry in sales but the UGLY Accord? Hell yeah.

In side by side photos (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/car...for-1-a-2.html) I think the Altima bests Camry in every way. But it will be the customer who determines number 1. Camry will be hard to beat even with such a great product.

Camry for me. A lot of it though is Toyota vs. Nissan rather than Camry vs. Altima. Would never buy a Nissan. Camry is still more bulletproof in quality and I think the Camry's interior is better.

Those are your preferences and I respect that. As for me, every new product (Altima, Fusuin) that comes out makes Camry seem even more old-fashioned.
