Any 2013/2014 Lexus LS information/rumors/stories?

The LS is Lexus' most important car and it is coming in a year. With the GS we saw spy shots more than a year before it was released. However no peep anywhere with the LS. With Lexus being so secretive about it, I am beginning to doubt that the Chinese would even be able to leak uncovered spy shots of it like they did with the GS and ES. ;) With the next S-Class we knew since last year that it will have a huge LCD display integrated into the dash and word from BMW is that the next-gen 7 series (to be released around 2015) will begin to use carbon fiber extensively and begin the trickle down to the rest of the line. Give us a teaser at least, Lexus!

Haven't seen any info on the next gen LS yet, but I can't wait to see it. I'm sure it will be a stunningly awesome :D

Don't know if anyone has posted this, but this is it. Introducing the front end of the new 2014 LS(USF50).

Looks like it. I remember seeing a while ago, the display of yet-to-be-unveiled models and the blue emblem stood out on this one. The new IS might have a hybrid variant too, as the emblem is also blue.

I am so looking forward to see the new LS!

Call me lame, but I won't be surprise it will just be the current LS with new spindle grill and new interior with a big ass NAV screen. Just look at the new GS and ES, exact same formula.

Please Lexus, surprise me and give us something new and exciting.

What are those black dots? I would say its similar to the BMW 5 series but in the Bimmer it's the LED lights, while the LS already has the L-shaped LED...

rumormill suggests all Lexus vehicles will get a hybrid variant

From my source (who is not alway right). We shall see a V6, 2 V8s, a hybrid and a price point that does not increase.

To you newbs :D its been reported a long time ago the LS will simply get one last facelift with the spindle before an all new model appears. Lexus is hard at work to make the next gen LS completely out of this world ala the 1989 LS.

Nice job!;) I tried doing that last night, but kept screwing it up. After that I gave up. Are they doing this on purpose? They should know that a car in silhouette can be exposed by alterations. I'm guessing at this rate the LS will debut before the next IS

LOL Would they actually risk leaving the current bodystyle in production for 8-9 years? The fascia looks updated and using a new headlight design. There might even be better shots of it in full color that I remember somewhere seeing on this site.

If that is the LS front, I can see how it might be just a refresh instead of an all new model. But I'm not so sure if that is a good idea, especially with the new S-class coming out this year. The LS might fall behind in this segment which IMO it and the S-class owns. If the refresh offers plenty of new things like the new LX refresh, it could be alright but hasn't the LS already received a minor refresh? But then doing a refresh could mean that the new Lexus sedans aren't so front-loaded into one and a half year, so there are plus and minuses for both.
