This car kinda looks bigger than the new GS. If thats the case, the new LS is gonna be massive. Agreed, nice catch.

Funny enough the 2012 ES350 is 1in longer than the 2012 GS350. 191in vs 190in respectively

The roofline looks awesome, although I wonder why they seemingly switched the body styles of the 3GS with the new ES while the GS gets a more LS-like body. The stance looks really nice from the rear, which was really needed for the ES which had a weak presence. I wonder how it will drive?

If it has the same wheel base as the Camry (109?) I hope it doesn't have big overhangs in the front and rear. Kind of hard to tell from the pics.

Thank you for posting the pictures. But how can you tell this is the next ES?

I remembered it from the autoblog photos, there is a Lexus test track near me, and the headrest in the car was unmistakably a Lexus headrest design. I know it sounds obsessive but I pay attention to stupid details like that. As soon as I got to the office I looked up the spy photos ans sure enough I was right. I have a good eye for this kind of stuff

One of the first thoughts I had was that the car looked like it was as big as a GS but looked like it had a slightly higher roof line and a the side profile that had a hint of CT and HS in it. The driver looked nervous when he was stuck at the light and I was clearly taking pictures. The driver behind me was some old guy who probably thought I was a nut.

Looks promising. However, I hope they don't make it too long and large. The more they do that, the more older people are going to flock to this, which will raise the age of the average Lexus buyer. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing, but every car company out there is working hard to reduce the age number. Further, I've never heard of the public complain the current ES is too small or cramped.
