IS wagon would be nice, but I think a CT wagon would make more sense. I can't wait to see what actually happens though.

 

The next generation 2014 IS front end in silhouette. I'm 100% certain this is the new IS. It must have been revealed in this form at NAIAS back in January.

 

the L emblem looks bluish, will the next IS have a hybrid model ?

 

if this rumor is true (highly doubt it), if i'm in the market for an IS now, i'd go get an IS350 F-Sport right away. 8 speed auto tranny would've be on the new 4GS as the other poster mentioned. the 2.5 v6 needs a revamp bad, it's under power while isn't that much more efficient than the 3.5 v6. they should bring back IS300, use either a tweaked 2.5 motor (225 hp, 200 lb-ft) or a new 3.0 motor.

 

That is a major step back from the 2nd gen. Looks like a CT...

Yeah that's definitely not the IS, it's the CT.... F-Sport most likely too

 

Next IS should look a bit more stylized and swept back than what's seen above. I too don't think that's it.

 

I think you just presented us the spindle grille'd CT F-sport that will probably arrive next year.

IS true coupe is coming, not just an IS C this time. Hybrid coming as we discussed. The GS is now considered sportiest or one of the sportiest in class, the IS will drive even sportier. Interior quality will step up of course.

 

is it confirmed for real?? and is it gonna come out at the same time as the sedan? can't wait to see...time for new car

 

Sorry, my mistake. I pondered about that for a while and considered it an ugly replacement, but figured(at the time) that the NAIAS display of the '14 ??, '14 LS, "13 ES, '13 RX, '13 GS, and '13 GS referred to the three on the left being yet-to-be-seen new models. It looks like the next IS wasn't included among them, but the facelifted CT is.
