Yeah that explains why the wheels look so small in comparison to the rest of the body. But the offset is very conservative no matter what height. I don't really know why it's like that, but the GX and RX suffer from it too. I know it provides a narrower track and protects the wheels from offroading.
A more aggressive offset would definitely help to make this truck look more aggressive. Look at the GL550 for example.

Wow, the white with saddle is just perfect! Just put some 22' F-sport wheels and all set!
The high low control is a very useful function, I always use it to load up heavy stuffs when I had my LX470. And unlike air suspension on the LS430, I haven't seen people having problem with it on LX470/570.
