I've never been to an international auto show before but always wanted to attend one. I realized the Chicago auto show is coming up in Feb, and was wondering if it's worth making the trip from NC.

 

Its one of the bigger shows, I go every year. Usually ChryCo has a test booth where they take you off roading do the 1/8th mile in srt car. Kia was doing test drives in the Optima Turbo last year. I like make the trip!

 

As mentioned, it's a big show and McCormick Place is a nice venue for it, with plenty of space. If you have the time, don't mind the travel to Chicago in February it's probably worth it.

 

Wow - I must take this kinda stuff for granted. I've always lived in the burbs of chicago and have been doing since I was a little kid.

If you consider yourself a car guy - this is a good show to attend. Best off trying to hit it during the week when it's not crazy packed. Yes - even with 1.2 million sq ft of car stuff, it still gets packed!!

I've even taken time off of work to go during the week.

Lately I've been hitting the motorcycle show and auto show in the same day since they overlap.
