Honda recalls 1-million cars globally

Fit, CR-V and CR-Z affected.
Honda announced Monday that it would recall about 960,000 vehicles globally for problems with the window switches and hybrid powertrains.
In the U.S., the affected models are primarily the CR-V and CR-Z hybrid. For the CR-V crossover, 80,111 units from model year 2006 are affected by a problem that leads to residue from cleaners building up on the power-window master switch, damaging the electrical contacts and possibly leading to a fire.
Of the 26,000 or so CR-Z hybrids recalled globally, about 5,626 2011 model-year vehicles with manual transmissions are being recalled in the U.S. According to Honda, if the CR-Z's engine stalls while in gear with the hybrid battery at low charge, the vehicle may roll in the opposite direction (reverse if the vehicle is in a forward gear, and vice versa).
The recall also covers the Honda Fit, though mostly models sold in Japan and other Asian countries. No accidents have been reported from any of the issues. Honda will begin contacting customers this month.

Speaking of Honda recalls, they really need to recall the 06-08 Civic motors. A LOT of people have been having issues with cracked engine blocks due to crappy casting. Last i heard they put out a TSIB for it, but no recall at all. I don't understand how they acknowledge a wide spread issue, thats pretty damn serious, and only issue a TSIB. One of the main reasons i bought a Lexus and not a Honda when i got my car is because of what Honda seems to have turned into. Will probably be trading my brothers 08 Civic in very soon too.

Yeah its a shame.
My brothers 08 Civic has gone through 5 different sun visors now i believe. It's stupid. They keep replacing them and after a couple months of putting down the sun visor to avoid being blinded by the sun or to hold up the sunshade, they just won't stay up anymore.

What do they mean "roll"? Is this now a case of unintended direction?
