Then that's Nissan's fault for not broadening their dealer network. Also, both Lexus and Infiniti launched at the same time and Lexus pulled ahead and outsold BMW and Mercedes by 1991, less than TWO years after its launch. Infiniti has never been able to claim that. And BMW and Mercedes probably have way more dealers, not to mention were far more established.

Nissan's also been crapping on Toyota lately, what with Nissan registering "Camry" on Twitter when Toyota unveiled it. The inventory commericals were also in horrible taste and made me lose respect for them.

Unfortunately the LFA will be unattainable for 99.9 percent of the population. The GT-R is not. Lexus needs to get back to its 2nd gen gs400 - gs430 roots.

Infiniti has around 180 dealerships in the US (I just counted once) :
http://www.cardealersusa.com/infiniti.htm

Lexus still has less than 250 the last time I checked, not even near twice as many and not that big of a difference. I think both MB and BMW each have > 300 dealerships nationwide ......

The REALITY is Lexus has
CT
IS
ES
HS
GS
LS
LFA

as cars. Infiniti has

G
M

The reality is

Lexus has 3 SUVS
RX
GX
LX

Infiniti has 4
EX
FX
JX
QX
If the EX is considered an SUV, then the CT should also be considered an SUV (it isn't - neither of them are).

So Infiniti has an SUV that is not an SUV... but its not a car either.

The word POS comes to mind

Exactly. Doesn't merit a response like Lexus wont' respond with the ad

So one one hand it doesn't matter than lexus has cars like the IS F and LFA cause they someone "don't matter" then on the other hand its Lexus fault to have been brilliantly executed with the finest delaerships

Hilarious.

To the bold, its like jay-z responding to every diss track from people that do not matter

Last time I was on a infiniti lot it was almost as if they wanted to give the cars away with deep discounts, I guess in that case, like the big 3 for a while, they would outsell lexus.....

I can safely say Infiniti has never been on my radar. I can't find a reason to like Infiniti. Their V6 gets poor gas mileage, the exhaust drone is annoying, the ride doesn't feel compliant, and I'm not impressed with their paint quality. They're just not exciting.

Sens4Miles didn't look at the bigger picture of Lexus and Infiniti. Lexus in total has been outselling BMW and Mecedes the past ten years...

Although, I agree that Lexus should just probably ignore such ads. However, if Infiniti will continue to produce ads like that, then I think Lexus should response. I mean, most of us here know the difference between these two brands. We know what LFA and ISF can do, but there are people out there that are still calling Lexus the Japanese Buick. Even though, for the past couple of years Lexus worked hard to erase that resemblance.

i recently saw new M and it was nothing special... i expected much better street presence from the pics. barely looked as premium car, let alone very expensive one (here in europe it is $100k for M35d)
