Still has the same basic shape as the original 1964 model. The 911/991 is a perfect example of something I've said for years......that cars don't have to change simply for the sake of change. Of course, though, over the years, even the ever-faithful 911 body has had a lot of changes under the skin.

For a car that has looked the same for 40 years this is the first time where I feel like I really notice a difference in the body shape and it looks damn nice in my opinion. I like it

I used to hate the styling of Porsche cars but now it has completely grown on me. I really like the new design of the new 911 as well as the Caymans. I'd love to test drive a Cayman S one of these days.

911's were always just okay to me regardless of model. But this one is simply beautiful! I really love the new Porsche interiors as well.
And I agree, you can easily see just how much longer the wheelbase is.

The cabin has moved forward like the 911 GT1 monster of the 1990s. Very clean update and makes me like the 911 a little more. I would downsize those wheels, though. It looks a little goofy given the 911's short wheelbase, and those look at least 20".
I never was a 911 fan because of the RR layout and streamlined-Beetle profile. If you're going Porsche, I would still recommend the MR Boxster and Cayman. They're awesome!
