Default S14 rolling chassis

I just put a refundable deposit on a 1995 s14 shell. I am payin 750, all it needs is a drivetrain and lights and a bumper and a couple of minor things. We plan to make it a drift car. Problem is was in nevada and had a salvage title. But when it came to cali the title was clean. From what i know that is title washing. But this owner is the 7th and has a clean title in hand. Is this a good idea? Frame is straight as far as we know. Theres no way to test drive it cuz theres no engine. ? Any advice. ? Its a great deal and its gonna be used for drift so its not a big deal to me. But i wanted to see what you guys thought

If it's strictly a race car (non for street use) I don't see a problem between salvage versus clean titles.

Although if you do drift it the chassis better be spot on. Don't want any weak points as drifting puts a lot of stress on the chassis.

Yea its going to be a drift car. Thats the only thing im worried about is the chassis stress. Whats the best way to make sure the front of this s14 is ok? Frame wise.

A reputable body shop will be able to use tools to see if a frame is aligned.

Regardless, I would spot weld the chassis before I started my build.

No doubt. The chassis will be stiffened with various supports and what not prior to the engine and drivetrain install. Suspension will be the first thing. Thanks for the advice.
