The all new Yaris hatch ...

Technically, this is the Japanese version but there shouldn't be much change to the US version.

For critics of center mounted gauges, notice they are gone.

Nice!

I like it!

It's like a mini-Matrix.

Nice lines. Looks sportier than the current model. If only Toyota got rid of the tiny-bopper wheels and wheelwells, they could lift this car out of the cartoon car category. Such an obvious and easy fix.

Ugly. I think the current Yaris looks far better.

^ Does show different variations. The top silver version is the most aggressive sport version which I hope makes it to the US showrooms. That one looks great.

My overall thoughts are that Toyota didn't go far enough with the new design including the interior. One look at the Ford Fiesta hatch and clearly Ford wins inside and out and it's a 2+ year old design. Toyota made the same mistake with the Corolla and there are now a number of more compelling cars. However it doesn't seem to be hurting sales.

Toyota just needs to step it up a notch. Ford, Hyundai, and others are just moving too fast to be complacent.

I could work with the modellista version. Why does Toyota insist though, that you must get a kit to have a great looking car? Jesus H. Christ.

I agree. This looks very poorly styled to me.
